Our strongest voice is an informed one. Please encourage friends, neighbours, family members and local organisations to sign up for our newsletter on the website and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages. The more people who stay informed, the stronger our community becomes.

We'd love to showcase the landscape and wildlife through your eyes. Share your favourite photographs of Hope Moor, its wildlife, its heritage and the changing seasons. We hope to feature a "Photo of the Month" in future round ups and on our social media.

Do you know about local wildlife, historic features, archaeology, footpaths, old mine workings, springs, ponds, local river sources/feeders, viewpoints or places with a special story? Local knowledge can be incredibly valuable. Please get in touch if there's something you think we should be aware of.

Talk to people about the campaign in a positive, respectful and factual way. Many people still don't know what is being proposed or how the planning process works. A simple conversation over a garden fence or in the village shop can make a real difference. Do you run a local group? Whether you are part of a coffee morning group, the WI, baby yoga, sporting club, car enthusiast club, cycle and motorcycle group, pot holing group, walking or running club, stargazing group. Talk to each other and spread the word, every bit helps.

We now have over 1,700 voices on Facebook. If everyone successfully invited 5 friends we would exponentially grow and have over 5,000 followers. So please share and ask your followers to join us. When you see one of our posts, please like it, comment on it and share it. These simple actions help our updates reach many more people and introduce the campaign to new audiences.

Could you spare a little time? Whether you can help with delivering leaflets, photography, research, fundraising, organising events, talking to community groups or simply making tea at meetings, we'd love to hear from you. Every contribution, large or small, is appreciated. We now have a small group of supporters who have become Community Ambassadors – we need more in many more areas to help grow our reach and strengthen the campaign’s reach and voice. Please send us an email and we will put you in touch with our Campaign Ambassador Group.
We are a community-led campaign run by volunteers. We are incredibly grateful to many people who give their time for free. You donation will help us cover costs of public meetings, printing leaflets and posters, maintaining our website and marketing, keeping our local communities informed.
Every contribution helps.
No one person will protect Hope Moor alone. But together, as neighbours, volunteers, families, businesses and local communities, we can ensure this remarkable landscape, one of the few remaining unspoilt wilderness areas in the British Isles, has a chance to be heard and saved.
